Youth SAM Group

Our self-advocacy group for youth is a supportive community where young people come together to learn new things, build independence, share experiences, and advocate for themselves and others.
In a self-advocacy group, youth may participate in activities such as workshops, discussions, and skill-building exercises that focus on topics like communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and self-expression.

Members of the group are encouraged to speak up about their needs, preferences, and rights, and to support each other in navigating challenges and barriers they may face.
Meeting Time: Hosted twice a month on Thursdays, bi-weekly
Location: South Vancouver Youth Centre
                        4920 Fraser Street, Vancouver, BC, V5W 2Y8
